01 35 26 GOVERNMENTAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS


NOTE:  The RFP Preparer is required to edit UFGS 01 35 26 Governmental Safety Requirements to be included as an attachment to this RFP.

Develop and implement a safety program in accordance with UFGS 01 35 26 in Part 5 of this RFP and EM-385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual.

1.1 Ergonomics Considerations During Design

Design facilities, processes, job tasks, tools and materials to reduce or eliminate work-related musculoskeletal (WMSD) injuries and risk factors in the workplace. Design maintenance access to reduce WMSD risk factors to the lowest level possible. In addition to requirements included in this contract, design must incorporate the requirements of MIL-STD-1472F.
