NAVFAC Design-Build Model Request for Proposal - Standard Template


NOTE:  Part Six, Attachments, is to organize and present additional information that the RFP preparer feels would be useful to the Contractor submitting a proposal for the work. Examples include record drawings for a current facility, soil boring logs, environmental impact reports, and pictures. Part Six is organized into general categories for this additional information. Below is a general outline of what types of information might be included by the preparer in each of these categories.

Drawings

Record drawings for an existing facility or a facility of like purpose at another location.

Planning drawings showing project location within a base or neighborhood

Style drawings indicating a preferred style for the building

Clear zone drawings (e.g., depicting explosive arcs for munition bunkers, airfield clear zones)

Reports

Soil Boring Logs

Geotechnical Reports

Environmental Hazards Assessment Reports (asbestos, lead based paint, paint, radon, PCB, Low-Level Radioactive components, , animal droppings, mold and spores, ASTs and USTs, contaminated soil and groundwater, waste characterization, chlordane, and other hazardous materials and contaminants).

Environmental Hazardous Materials/Components Drawings.

Environmental Impact Statements (EIS)

Base Exterior Architecture Plans (BEAP)

Program Documents from prior project programming efforts (the current project program is in Part Two of the RFP)

Function Analysis Concept Design (FACD) Reports

Pictures

General Site Photographs

Photographs for environs (e.g., adjacent historically significant structures)

Photographs of specific site problems (e.g., significant stormwater erosion)

Photographs of the operations at an existing facility
